This has been a busy Memorial Day weekend, but today we stayed home to relax and do a few things around the house. On Sat. we went to the Como Zoo in St. Paul MN. It's a very old zoo in the middle of a lovely park. In the last couple of years, they have updated and added a new visitors center. Below is a water lily in the pool in front of the center. 
Here, Sabrina and I are waiting for the center to open. We got there early to get a parking space.
First thing we saw in the zoo were some beautiful pink flamingoes that you see behind Sabrina.
I thought she should do a pose like a flamingo, since she was all pink too!
Next we saw orangutans,
and a giraffe family.
Aren't they beautiful?
After visiting the animals, we went to the conservatory. What a wonderful place! And, boy does it smell wonderful too!
