The Big Yawn

 Okay, believe it or not, this is the first photo I've taken catching Smoke yawning! So I just had to share!

 He was all cozy in the afghan, and then it was time to stretch, and then yawn. But before all that, what caught my eye was this paw peaking out of the covers. So darn sweet!

Cat-agenic

 Sometimes cats are just extremely photogenic

and then sometimes they would rather lick themselves.

So when Smoke is in the cooperative mood,

I start snapping pictures!

If I'm on the sofa, (in this case crocheting) he likes to sleep next to me.

Cute Overload

 Here is my cute overload for the day.

I just love it when my kitty gets all cozy,

he never saw an afghan that he didn't like!

 

 

Of course, that doesn't mean that he likes having his picture taken.

But, he puts up with my photography sessions,

and just sort of ignores me.

 

 Or gives me a rather annoyed look, when necessary.

Bunnies are coming out now too,

so I'm getting more views of then every day.

 

They get so close to the window,

I can get some really good photos.

 Some of the trees around our house

have just been spectacular!

They look just as beautiful on a cloudy day!

 Every now and then, 

I find Smoke looking intently in the mirror.

I wonder, is he admiring his reflection?

Or is he wondering who the cat is?

 Is he trying to enter that alternate universe?

 Or just happy to see his old friend,

mirror cat?

Smoke and Mirrors

 I've been using pixlr, a photo editing site,

since Picnik said it was closing,

and I'm pretty happy with it. 

And today I decided to play around

 with some of the special effects, 

using some of Smoke's pics. 

He loves looking at himself in the mirror,

and I finally got a picture of it!

 And, what cat doesn't love lazing in the sun?

 And his new favorite pastime is watching the bunnies,

especially when they are on the deck.
