 I hadn't been to an estate sale in awhile,

but this is a good time of year for them.

This wasn't the best one I've ever been too, 

but I did find some crochet thread and vintage felt.

Still can't find the elusive ric rac or embroidered ribbon, though!

 Made it to the thrift store this week 

and found some fun things.

I found a plaid skirt that just needs 

some alterations, 

some calico fabric

and lastly this great vintage mushroom spoonrest!

I really needed one for my stove!

Mid Century Mod Linen

I realized the other day, 

that I have never really taken any good pix

of a lovely vintage linen wall hanging

that I found at the thrift some time ago.

It's such I beauty I had to share!

 

There is a signature at the bottom,

but I don't know what it says,

does anyone have any ideas?

 Finally got to do some thrifting again,

the pickings have been slim for crafty items lately.

Did find this amazing 70s sewing pattern though,

and a nice hanger I can crochet a cover for.

Just need to get my sewing machine fixed first,

oh well!

 Found at the thrift: 

a cute Santa die cut for 40 cents!

 A hanging reindeer ornament for $1!

 And a fabric applique egg ornament for 40 cents!

I found these vintage wooden ornies at the thrift for 40 cents each!
And I was able to add to my 12 days of  Christmas glassware
at just 70 cents apiece!
Now I have six all together.

I think they are just lovely!

 They've started to put out Christmas at my thrift,

so I found this great roll of vintage ribbon 

and some red yarn for holiday crocheting!

I also bought a vintage record because I couldn't 

resist the cover!

 I love this kind of artwork,

especially the groovy Santa!

 I almost passed up this vintage craft book 

when I saw the cover art,

but the title grabbed me since I love applique.

I'm glad I looked inside,
