It was seven years ago this morning that I brought this little girl into the world, and I can't believe how time has flown! These pics are from last weekend actually, so we could have Grandpa and Grandma over. We had all her favorites; pizza, chocolate cake, balloons, and lots of presents.
The pic below shows the candle she got from my mom, that you light every year till she's 21.
One of her fav gifts was the "Pinkalicious" book as you can see in this picture.
But the best by far, was her Harry Potter dvd! She's already watched it at least a dozen times! On, Monday, she got her present from Grandma Viv and Aunt Denise in the mail, a Cinderella book and money. At school today, she wore a crown and got all kinds of special privilages. And, I brought cookies and juice for her class treat. So it's been a great week for her! Well, bye for now!

Finally! New fairies for Valentine's!
Well, I finally got some fairies done for Valentine's Day, which I just listed on Ebay. Whew! I worked all weekend on these, but I'm really happy with how they turned out. The first one is called "BonBon" and as with the other two I used pink, cream and brown for the colors. I so loved how her little crepe paper skirt turned out that I used that idea on the next two also. Below is "Sweet" fairy, and she is in a shadowbox I made out of the bottom of a cardboard box and a vintage metal frame. She's holding a little banner with french handwriting on it.
The last one is "l'affaire" and she is carrying a pearl string with a silver glass glitter key on the end. I hope to get some more things done for Etsy too, so keep checking back. Well, bye for now!

I'm still here!
Hope I haven't lost the few readers I have, I couldn't believe how long it's been! First it was the business of the holidays, and then Sabrina got sick, I got sick and then the hubby got it too. I'm finally starting to feel normal as of today. It took me longer to get well because I ended up with a sinus infection-YUK! Let me just say that I forgot how bad they can be! I have had them before, but it's been a while. So I'm finally back in my studio, and now I'm getting some momentum, so hope to have some new things on Etsy very soon. I'll post pics as soon as I do. In the mean time, wanted to show some art my little peanut did on her chalkboard the other night. She said it was to show how much she missed Oreo (our cat that pasted away a year ago the day after Christmas). It was so sweet I had to take a pic of it, before it gets erased.
The other day I caught Tigger our tiger cat relaxing on Sabrina's bed pillow. Doesn't he look cozy? He certainly is the epitome of indifference! "Please don't bother me now. Can't you see I'm busy?" While I was sick he was so babied, he made a permenant dent in my lap! Bye for now! Thanks to anyone who has hung in there waiting for me!
