Thrift Store Finds

 Made it to the thrift store this week 

and found some fun things.

I found a plaid skirt that just needs 

some alterations, 

some calico fabric

and lastly this great vintage mushroom spoonrest!

I really needed one for my stove!

 New in my shop is this weather house pin,

with Hansel and Gretel! 

I went with lovely fall tones on this one.

Plaid and Tweed

 After being stuck inside all week 

caring for the sick family,

it was nice to get out again!

I did some major pattern mixing 

and added my crochet beret.

Autumn Rain

 I know I've been missing this week,

but I had a hubby and daughter 

both sick with colds.

My girls is almost well,

but hubby is still not there yet.

I love this wet autumn weather 

we are having though.

 Just right for making chicken and rice soup,

and lots of baking!

 And then at sunset the sun came out

and we got a beautiful rainbow!

 A double rainbow, actually!

 It's been kind of crazy round here,

but I managed to get a start

 on a new pin!

And I was going to give this puzzle to the thrift,

but I had to put it together first.

at the beauty of fall in my neighborhood!

Fall Mantle Decoration

 Doing a little decorating for fall
