Springy things

Just a few springy things to show you, first is a closeup of one of the dishes from the tea set I used for the virtual tea party. The tea set is called Silver Birch by Royal Albert. Second is a shelf that is in my dining room decorated for Easter. The third is some items I found at a thrift store in our area. It was my first time in there actually, and was surprised at what I found. First I found some vintage ribbon and seam binding. Then I found a vintage hat that had some sweet millinery flowers on it. All together it came to just under $5. Will have to try and go there more often! Bye for now!:)

Hi Laurie, you found some fun springy things...can't wait til the garage sales start! I just read your comment on my blog and yes, we enjoy the Glensheen too. Canal Park is our favorite place to stay, usually at the Inn or the Hampton...did you know that they tore down that old hotel next to the Hampton and a brand new one should be up by June! It looks really nice...what a small world we live in.... take care, Gail

Thanks for the nice compliments! Hi Gail! I didn't know about the hotel being torn down, wish we could go up there, but might not make it this year. :)
