Tabitha Twitch!

This is my newest creation for Ebay, called "Tabitha Twitch". She is a clever witch cat, and loves to make new spells. Especially for catching mice! This was drawn by me in colored pencils, then collaged over a moon and lovely scrapbook paper background. The piece is mounted onto a vintage cover of a photo album with cream and black lace for trims. For extra glitter I added little black faceted gems to the top and black and silver glass glitter. I also added some hand flocking with black on the belt, hat band and on the dots at the bottom.
As you can see she has quite a lovely expression! I'll also be relisted the charms that I had on a
couple of weeks ago. Only the owl has sold, the other three are still available. Bye for now!

Sinister but chic chapeau

Tonight I have a scarily gorgeous black Halloween hat for Ebay! I took a vintage hat that had no adornment, and added two layers of cream and black crepe paper ruffle. Then I added some
black feathers on either side and vintage black millinery flowers on top. There are also some
beautiful vintage cream flowers that have been sparkled with silver and black glass glitter. And there are a few sequins too. There is a strip of black netting that goes under the chin. Hope you like it! Bye for now!

New season, new do

With the coming of fall, I felt in need of a change with my hair. I was getting tired of the maintenance of shoulder length hair, and not really being happy with the way it looked. I had wondered if maybe a bob would be the answer. But, I was scared to go that short. Still, I figured it wouldn't take too long to grow again if I hated it. So I did it!

I love it! It is really easy to take care of and it really seems to be suited well to my fine, thin hair. Finally a hair do that is easy to do for that type of hair! And before I go, I had to show my little girl's latest creation. She decided to make a spider web out of a cardboard frame mat, rubber bands, black and orange marker and black glitter. Clever, I thought! Bye for now!

Bewitched, bothered and bewildered

This is a sweet doll I found at the thrift store awhile back. She had a water stained body, but the rest of her was in pretty good shape. So I painted the body cream and gave her a skirt, collar, and hat. As you can see in the top photo she is named "bewitching".
I set her on top of my armoire with black and cream pumpkins I painted last year.
There is also some garland with little mini pumpkins on it. In honor of her and my new business name, here is a great song by Old Blue Eyes, "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered":

Something to crow about

This art doll is named "Raven" and she has vintage rhinestones as a belt and on her hat. She carries a fan with black glass glitter.

This collage is titled, " the bat boy opera" and he is hand drawn by me. There are lots of black feathers and silver glass glitter as accents. Thanks for taking a look, bye for now!

Black cat for UHAT

This pretty kitty is "masquarade" and I made her for the challenge at the UHAT ebay group. She has a cloth stuffed body that I painted and chenille bump and stem arms, legs and tail. Her head is sculpted of paper mache and hand painted.
I gave her a skirt of vintage crepe paper and lace and a collar of vintage silk millinery petal and crepe paper. Around her waist is a belt of black ribbon and a vintage earring for a buckle. She holds a mask that is coated in silver glass glitter. Her hat is cardstock embellished with crepe paper and silver glass glitter.
I also made some little glass bubble charms that are two sided and soldered with silver solder. Check out my ebay auctions to see the other sides. Bye for now!

2nd Grade, here she comes!

I know, Sabrina looks pretty laid back here, but she was VERY excited about the first day of 2nd grade. She's is modeling new shoes and jeans here.
Outside, with the umbrella, as it was supposed to rain.
The bus was early! Yikes! Luckily, we were out there even earlier!
This is a drawing she did for me that I just love! It has a folk art look to it I think! bye for now!
