Today, was day 2 of the Sabrina birthday extravaganza! Today was a party with Grandma and Grandpa as guests. I concocted a castle birthday cake, and daddy bought a gaggle of balloons.
After pizza and cake, it was time for presents! Just a few, really! Well, maybe more. 
She got some new jewels to add to her growing collection.
And she loved the new Chrissa doll from the grandparents.
Plus a big blue diamond! Whew! I great time was had by all! Bye for now!
This was done on canvas board, with acrylics and colored pencil, and has a crepe paper border. I also added vintage millinery flowers and mica glitter.
Next is a mixed media shadow box called, "love's sweet bond". I used a vintage frame and a cardboard box.
The pixie is paper clay with chenille stem arms and legs.

Finally, I was able to get photos on my computer! So now I can finally show pix from Xmas! Sabrina got lots of great gifts, including more "jewels" to add to her collection. Below, she is holding a big pink diamond from Santa at Grandma and Grandpa's.
She loves going to Grandma and Grandpa's, esp. since Santa visits their house too!
At our house, Santa brought a big green diamond! And a new nightgown! And a new tiara! She was so happy! By the way I just ordered a new computer, so hopefully by this time next week I'll be setting it up! Bye for now!
Ok, I know it's been a while since I've blogged, but I have a reaaaaaaaaaaaaaly good excuse. First my computer died and I tried to get it fixed as you saw in the last post. And we thought it was fixed, I mean, I can get on the internet. But, unfortunately, my hubby can't get the printer to connect to it! So now I can't load pix from my camera! No flickr! Now pix on my blog! No new items on Etsy or Lollishops!!!!!!! Not good! So now comes the realisation that maybe this is the end of the road. I'm not going to throw more money at this old thing if it can't be fixed. It's having other issues too, so the writing is on the wall. And so are dollar signs! How will I pay for it!? But, I can't give up right? As I alluded to before, there is something exciting in my artistic future, and I need to be on the computer to take advantage of it. So, I guess that's what credit cards are for! And faith, that I will start selling enough art to hopefully pay for it someday. Yikes! It is hard for me to even contemplate putting such a thing on a credit card, my Dad tought us to never buy anything we couldn't pay for in cash. But, this isn't a luxury or for fun. It's for my business and I have to do this if I'm serious about making a living doing this. Maybe this will give me the push to really start marketing and promoting myself. Maybe this will be what I need to get serious about my art. Sometimes you do have to take a chance, and make a big commitment. So, hopefully soon, I will be blogging to you on a new computer. With new pix! Can't wait, I have so much to show you and catch you up on. Like Christmas, and new art I've done. So, bye for now, but not for too long!
Oh, boy! I hope everyone is having a great New Year so far! Unfortunately I have been starting out with no computer, or to be precise, it is visiting the "Peek Squad". I think you might know who I am referring to. I do not want to mention their name because I'm not very happy with them right now! I took it in last Friday, and I still do not have it back!!!! I'm going through computer withdrawal! If it wasn't for my hubby's computer, I would be in serious trouble! I would have missed a very important email, which I hope to tell you about in the days to come. But for now, suffice it to say that I WANT MY COMPUTER BACK! Sorry for yelling, I just had to vent! Yesterday, they said they were still doing the diagnostic. What?! After a week! I know it's the holidays, but come on. Oh, well! Remind me to never take it there again! WE have had a great week otherwise, with my daughter spending some quality time with the grandparents. Hubby and I have been footloose and fancy free (as he says). Last night we rented "Dark Knight" and "Sex in the City". Turned out the "Dark Knight" dvd didn't work, so we watched "Sex" which I loved!! Hubby enjoyed it too, thank goodness.
