What I Wore for the Flower Show

The flower show at Macy's in downtown Minneapolis
is a big tradition for our family.
We see the show, then eat at Leeann Chins,
then head to the Barnes and Noble
for frapps and people watching.
I will post pix of the show tomorrow!
Here is a vintage maxi skirt found at the thrift
that I shortened.
I just never feel comfortable in a maxi skirt,
even though I love them on other people.
And the jacket I got for $1 at the thrift
because I had a $10 off coupon!
Jacket, skirt and blouse: thrift
Tee and tights: Target
Belt: Dots
Shoes: Dansko
Crochet necklace: made by me
Flower pins: vintage
Bye for now!

I bet you outdid the flowers in that gorgeous outfit! That skirt is wonderful and, much as I adore maxis, its much better to shorten a skirt and wear it than it hang in your wardrobe neglected! xxx

Smart girl ... shortening the skirt was genius. Might have overwhelmed petite you. What a nice length you chose, and cute combination to go with. Very flower-show chic.
