Pretty Sketchy

I've been in a creative rut for a while, so I thought maybe I would try something different and start sketching and working with different kinds of media. So I joined a drawing challenge on Instagram called #yayeveryday. I found out about it through Toby of I Like Cats. It has been a great way to push myself, and I am really enjoying it. So I'm showing you some of my artwork so far. Some are done in charcoal like the one above and below.

These two, above and below are acrylic and marker. The one above was done on watercolor paper.
And the one below on bristol board.

Every day of the challenge has a theme, like above was "Kodak moment" and below was "stripes".

I'm having so much fun with this, and I know it will improve my work too. And who knows where it will lead me! If you want to see more, just follow me on Instagram: @happyasalarks or on my Facebook or Twitter accounts. Bye for now!

My stars, these are fabulous, Laurie. So creative, fun and smile inducing. I'm secretly hoping now that you'll offer prints of them for sale in your Etsy shop.

Thank you for sharing your adorable work with us.
