The Envelope Please!

So, I've been doing some cleaning and purging in my office/studio,
and realized I have lots of orphan envelopes.
I didn't want to throw them away,
so I came up with an idea.....
Shopping list and coupon holder in one!

I stuck in all my coupons for that weeks shopping trip,

and, wrote my list on the front!
I've found that it works really well for me!

I Gone Flower Loom Crazy!

I recently discovered vintage flower looms,
and I can't stop making these yarn flowers!
Actually, I remember seeing these when I was a kid,
but never got to try it.

So here are my creations.
I call them.......

Pretty Posh Posie 3 in 1 accessories!
First its a pin that you can where on your sweater, hat or purse.

Second, its a necklace, when you combine it with the chain!


Above is my "model" showing it as a necklace/choker.

Third, it can be worn as a headband!
What do you think?
I'm really excited about them,
and they are now available at my shop!
And, there are more coming,
I have so many ideas for color combos!

Recorder Showcase!

My little cutie had a recorder concert this week!
It was so much fun to hear them playing,
they were really quite good.
She is in the middle on the first row,
wearing the leopard print pants

I Love You Mom!

She's holding a jewelry/music box I gave her.

I feel lucky to say that I got a lot of things from my mom,
beside love!
I got her freckles, (not as many).
I got her blue eyes.
I got her stubborness.
I got her temper.
I got her loyal nature.
I got her great sense of humor.
I got her love of reading and old movies.
I got some of her talent at embroidery.
And, I've always got her support and love!

What We Wore to the Flower Show

The Flower Show at Macy's was a great excuse to

dress up for spring!

I wore the vintage tunic I found at the thrift store!

And I added pin I made using a flower loom.

I will show more pics of that later.

2011 Macy's Flower Show

Last weekend I got to go to the Macy's Flower Show ,

downtown Minneapolis.

It was AMAZING!

Check out these pictures I took!

Even with the bad lighting, I think you can see

just how beautiful it was!

Managed to get a few shots of us,

but it wasn't easy!

The place was packed!

And, this time they had a seperate gift shop and cafe

with these adorable cookies.

Too pretty to eat!
