New Weather House Pin

 I have a cute new weather house pin in my shop!

I used my favorite color combo, blue and yellow.

And this time I added some tulip flowers in front!

 The blue fabrics are from a vintage patchwork fabric.

Enjoying the Weather

 The other day the weather was perfect, 

warm with no humidity!

So I went out to admire my pretty red tulip...

 and to hang out some laundry, 

which I haven't done in a long time.

 It brought back wonderful memories of my mom and me 

hanging laundry when I was little.

 I would run between the sheets and hide!

Her birthday would have been this week, 

and I miss her so much!

 It's just plain busy round here with school coming to an end,

and Memorial Day weekend.

New Pin and Crafting

 I have a new cuckoo clock pin in my shop!

Yellow gingham and pink, so sweet!

Here it is pinned to a tank top!

 I also made myself a crochet flower bracelet,

using puff stitches.

I love how it turned out!

 I also made some book marks out of 

vintage playing cards.

 And started painting an old framed mirror.

I will show more pix of that when it's done.

 I have so many things to thank my mother for,

and one of them is my sense of style.

I wish she was still here to see all my outfits.

is when all the birds start coming back.

Like these cedar waxwings, aren't they pretty!

They love our crabapple.

for my latest sewing project. 

I used this vintage McCalls  pattern.

Unfortunately this may be the last thing 

I will so for awhile as my machine died!

It started making a plastic burning smell,

and than it just stopped working!

I'm quite disappointed as I haven't used it that much,

and now this.

1. I was hit in the head with a baseball bat when I was 3 years old

and went to the hospital . Here I am with my bandaged head.

2. Sometimes one ore both of my ears turn red and get really hot,

and I don't know why. It started in my 30s.

3. I worked in Yellowstone National Park for a whole summer 

when I was in college.

4. I love, love, love, coffee Frappuccinos! 

5. I played the flute in highschool.

6. I'm an introvert.

7. I love to ballroom dance, so much

that I took it twice in college!
