It Was a Lovely Weekend

We spent a lovely weekend on a road trip to Rushford, MN. Partly to visit family and celebrate my Father-in-law's birthday. And partly to hand over our daughter to her grandparents so they could take her back with them to South Dakota. We will head out there in about a month, and from there, will pick her up and go on to Yellowstone!! Yay! I worked in Yellowstone back in 1981 and haven't been there since so I'm so excited!

In Rushford we stayed at a local inn, that had these fun old fashioned keys. You don't see these much anymore!

It did get a little stormy that evening, but cleared up fast and the rest of the weekend was great!

Hope you had a great weekend! Bye for now!

Those stormy skies look wonderful and yes, I love that key ring, too. x

Classic hotel key fob - love it! So true! I think I was about seventeen the last time I saw one of those in use in person. Kudos to that inn for still using them.

It's great that you guys had a fun getaway weekend. They really can be such a stellar way to recharge one's batteries and just get away from the daily grind for a little while.
